About the Program / Our Mission
We believe that all students should be allowed to participate in theatre, regardless of their age, experience, or ability. The Madeira Theatre Arts Summer on Stage Program is designed to teach all students, of all levels. We will provide a safe and encouraging environment where your student can learn and grow with confidence. These programs are open to all students in the Cincinnati area.
We do NOT hold auditions in order to be accepted into the program. We will work with students at any level and will cast each show from the participants who have paid their tuition to join in the program. Each student will receive theatrical instruction form professionals (who are also certified teachers!), a program t-shirt, and the experience of a lifetime. Sign your child up today, before the programs reach their participation limit!

How the Program Works
Your student will show up on the first day of their program with the knowledge that they are already in the show! By paying tuition, you have guaranteed them a spot in the cast! We will teach the audition materials to all students and will cast the show from the students who sign up to be involved. From there, we will teach them vital theater skills while also putting on a full scale show.
What is covered under your tuition:
Producing a show can be expensive! From lights to publicity, and costumes to musicians, the bill can add up. Here is what your tuition covers… The rights and royalties to perform the show, purchase and/or rentals of costumes for your child, a program t-shirt for each child, director’s salaries, set construction materials, props and special effects that Madeira Theatre Arts does not already own, publicity needs, hiring of musicians (if needed), make-up and hair needs, lighting needs and design, and general theater maintenance.
